Turkey Bolognese

1 pound of leanest turkey                                   1 1/2 tsp of dried sage
1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes                     2 tsp of poultry  seasoning
1 1/2 cups of diced onions                              1 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 large carrots diced                                        salt and pepper
2 ribs of celery diced                                        1 chicken bouillon with another 1/4 water
2 tbsp of tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp of crushed garlic
1 tbsp olive oil


Add your olive oil to your hot pan and add your celery, onion and carrot.Cook for about 5 mins until they are getting tender and the onions are becoming translucent , add your turkey and brown. Add the crushed  tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients  and simmer on low for about an hour to an hour and a half. Serve over your favorite pasta!

The only pointed item is the oil. It is 4 sp on all plans if you count it.

Cabbagge Soup

Chicken Broth 48 ounces  3 sp                                1 tbsp crushed or chopped garlic
5 ribs of celery                                                   1 tsp black   pepper
1 leek or 1 large onion chopped                         1 tsp dried dill weed                                          
2 large carrots chopped                                       parm cheese to taste
1 28 ounces can of crushed tomatoes 1/4 cup of water to rinse the can
 2 tbsp tomato paste
1 med head of cabbage sliced
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix 3sp

Add broth to your pot, add dry onion soup mix, celery, carrots, and leeks or onions and black pepper. Cover and bring to a boil and simmer for about an hour. Add the cabbage and dill and let it cook down for about
30 mins at a low simmer. Sever with some grated parm cheese and enjoy

the only thing to count would be the dry onion soup mix and the chicken broth.  You get about 10-12 servings of this soup. This is considered zero points for a serving of soup. I am a rebel and don't count chicken broth or onion  soup mix, You do what you need to do .

Spinach Artichoke White Bean Dip

1 tsp olive oil
1 medium onion finely diced
3 garlic cloves minced
1 jar 14oz artichoke  hearts in water drained and chopped
5 oz  baby spinach chopped
1 can 15 oz of white beans drained and rinsed
1 Lemmon juiced
1/2 cup water
2-3 tbsp nutritional  yeast
1 tsp of  dried herbs of your choice (thyme,.basil,or oregano) or 2tsp of fresh minced
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
Topping : 2 tsp of olive oil.  1/4 cup of seasoned bread crumbs

Mix topping ingredients and set aside.
Sauté onions in the 1 tsp of olive oil for 5 mins or until translucent . Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more, then add the spinach and the artichoke and cook until spinach wilts.
In a food processor add white beans, water, Lemmon juice, spices. Process until creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Place mixture in with spinach mixture and combine,
Preheat oven to 375
Place mixture in a small baking dish and layer bread crumbs over top
Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, remove foil and bake 10 more minutes ,
Let cool a few mins before serving

Points. 1/2 cup 1 smart point blue and purple  4sp on green

Hash Waffles

85 Grams of frozen shredded hash browns thawed
1 egg
1/4 cup of fat free mozzarella
1 tsp of baking powder
salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Place half of mixture in mini Dash waffle maker and cook until done. Recipe make 2 waffles
2 sp on Blue
0 sp on purple
4 sp on green

Cranberry Apple Butter

1  12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
6 apples sliced  leave on skin
1 cup of Splenda
1 tsp cinnamon


Place cranberries in the slow cooker and add sliced apples and Splenda . Cook on high for 5 hours , Use an immersion blender and blend until all blended, Add cinnamon and continue to cook on high for 2 more hours , Cool and place in refrigerator ,
Zero points unless you eat 1/3 of it .

Stuffed Zucchinni Boats

Zucchini Boats Recipe   Serve 3 with 2 halves each.
3 zucchini halved and the flesh scooped  out (save a bit inside )
1/2 cup of diced onion
1/2 cup bell pepper diced
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs( SAVE 1/2  TBSP FOR TOPPING)
1/3 tbsp more parmesan cheese for topping
Place your 6 halves of zucchini in a large pot of boiling water for about 5 mins, then take out and drain. While they are boiling place onion and pepper in a frying pan with nonstick spray and saute for approx 5 mins or until softened, add the pulp of zucchini and cook until done approx 5 mins or so. Add salt, pepper,1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs, 1 tbsp of parm cheese and mix to combine. Place zucchini halves in a baking pan and split filling between halves. Sprinkle the 1/3 tbsp of parm cheese and a
1/2 tbsp more panko for topping. Bake @ 350 degrees for approx 15 -20 mins.  2 half boats are 1 smart point.

Eggroll in a Bowl

Egg-roll in a Bowl Recipe for Elly Houser
1 lb 99% lean ground turkey
1 lb bag of coleslaw mix
1/2 cup diced onion
2 tbsp coconut aminos
1tsp avocado oil
1 tsp sesame oil
garlic to taste
1 tbsp ginger root or paste
Add 1 tsp of avocado oil to a large frypan and brown meat. Once the meat is browned add onion and bag of coleslaw mix and cook for approx 4-5 mins. Once the cabbage is broken down add your garlic, ginger and coconut aminos and sesame oil.  Enjoy! Makes 4 servings at 1 sp each or you can eat the whole pan for 4 sp You can add an egg or egg white to amp up the protein ! So good !

South West Hash Waffles

South West Hash Waffles
89 grams of shredded frozen shredded hash browns (thawed) 2sp
1 egg zero points
1 tablespoon cornmeal   1 sp
sauteed onions and peppers I used 2 tbsp zero sp
1 tbsp black beans zero
1 tbsp corn kernels zero
1 jones chicken sausage chopped for zero
14 grams of Velveeta shreds 1sp
Mix everything in a bowl. Heat your dash mini waffle
spray with non-stick spray and add 1/3 mixture and cook until golden and crispy. I did get 3 waffles ( 4 points for all of them.) I just eat 1 for 1 smart point,
I top mine with an egg and avocado, salsa and non-fat greek yogurt for 3sp for the plate of food.

Carrot Cake Pancake Bites with Homemade Carrot Cake Jam

Let's Start with the Jam
1 can of crushed Pineapple in its own juiced drained well
1/4 cup of Surkin Gold Brown sugar replacement
1 cup of shredded carrots
1 apple diced
1 tbsp water
1 box of golden raisins ( 5 points)
1 tsp of cake batter extract
Add the first 5 ingredients and simmer for about 50 mins or until the apple is blended. Add the next 2 and cook for an additional few mins.
Place in a container and cool down.
Pancake Bites
1/3 cup of Kodiak Power Buttermilk cakes mix
1/3 cup of water or unsweetened almond milk
1 egg
2 tbsp of shredded carrots that I microwaved for 2 mins
1 tsp of cake batter extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Mix all ingredients well in a bowl.
line a mini muffin pan with liners and spray with nonstick spray
place 1 tbsp of the mix in each one. ( I usually get 12) and then top with a tsp of your jam.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 12=13 mins, check with a toothpick
All 12 mini muffins are 4 smart points and I dip in 2 tbsp of sugar-free pancake syrup for zero.

Pumpkin Mini Loaf

Pumpkin Mini Loaf/Bread  2sp
1/4 cup of quick oats
1/2 banana mashed
1 egg
1/4 cup of pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
dash of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp of Lakanto Monkfruit golden sugar  replacement
Mix everything and combine it and place it in a mini loaf pan that has been sprayed with non stick spray. Sprinkle 1 tsp of pumpkin seeds and 1 tsp of crushed hemp hearts and 13 Lily chocolate chips( the topping are optional and add no points)
. and bake @ 350 degrees for 30 mins test with a toothpick to make sure it is done. 2 smart points for the whole loaf

Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats


Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla cashew milk
2tbsp of pure pumpkin
2 heaping tbsp of fat-free greek yogurt
dash of salt
3/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of brown sugar replacement I used Lakanto golden monk fruit
3/4 tsp vanilla extract or maple
Mix everything in your container and place it in the fridge overnight.
The next morning I top with   1 tsp of [pumpkin seeds, 1 tsp crushed hemp hearts, 12 lily chocolate chips , (all other toppings are zero for the amount I used) Squirt of whipped cream


4 sp Blue Plan/zero on purple/ green 4 or 5

Mary Lou's Oat Muffin in a Mug



Here is a yummy oat muffin /cake in a mug that my coach Mary Lou suggested.
Here is what you need!
1/4 of quick oats
1/2 container of unsweetened apple sauce
1 tbsp of unsweetened vanilla almond milk or plain
1 egg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp of baking powder
dash of salt
2 tsp of brown sugar substitute I used Lakanto Golden
13 lily chocolate chips
mix everything in your mug that you sprayed with nonstick spray.
Cook in your microwave for about 3 mins or a tad less.
This whole mug is only 2 smart points.
You can change it up by adding 1/3 cup oats and the whole apple sauce and it would come out to 3 smart points. Or you can use an oatmeal packet that is flavored instead of the quick oats you just need to adjust the points to what they are for the packet and some packets have the sweetener and cinnamon already, Just be aware and adjust.

Pink Party Dip / Beet Hummus

This is how  I  made Beet Hummus 4 sp for the whole recipe.

1 can of chickpeas drained and rinsed
2 cloves of garlic chopped ( you should roast first so you don't have a heavy garlic flavor or use powder)
5 roasted beets or you can use canned ( 1 extra  beet for garnish)
1 tbsp EVOO
1/2 cup of non-fat Greek yogurt
salt and pepper
Place everything in the food processor and get to the consistency that you like, smooth is best.  Taste for more salt and pepper. Place extra chopped beets on top for garnish and heck they taste great.
The only thing you count is the EVOO and that is 4 smart points. So depending on your portion you don't have to count it unless you have a substantial amount. Enjoy



Tomato Caprese Strata in a Mug

How to make this Strata that started as french toast.
1 slice of 647 Italian bread chopped into cubes
2 eggs
1 string cheese (the 1 point one)
1/4 cup chopped fresh tomato
1 tbsp 1% fat milk or milk of choice
1/2 tbsp chopped fresh basil  chopped 1or 1/4 tsp of dried
salt and pepper
Trader Joes onion salt to your taste
1 tsp parmesan cheese divided.
Spray your mug with butter flavored non-stick spray. Crack your 2 eggs in the mug and add your milk and scramble up. Add your tomato, basil, cheese chopped, half your parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, and onion salt and mix well. Add your bread and make sure it is all coated in the egg mixture. Microwave for 1 minute and remove and mix again. Cook again for 40 more seconds. Plate up and sprinkle the rest of the parmesan cheese and enjoy! This recipe is 2 WW freestyle smart points. Enjoy! 

Cold Brew Coffee Smoothie

My Cold Brew Coffee Smoothie Recipe

2 SP if you don't count blended fruit and 4 SP if you do.
First, we need to make our homemade cold brew: Place 4 cups of cold fresh water in a container and add 1 and 1/3 cups of coffee grinds of your choice. Mix well and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours. After 24 hours place a filter or paper towels in a fine strainer and strain coffee.  You should strain twice. Your cold brew is ready. Place in a container and it should last about a week. To make your smoothie place 1/3 cup of your cold brew in your blender add 2/3 cup of milk of choice( I used unsweetened almond milk for 1 point) 1/2 of a regular sized banana frozen( 2 smart points). 2 Tbsp of rolled oats( 1 smart point) 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of special dark cocoa, 1 packet of Splenda and some ice. Blend until smooth and enjoy. You can change up the flavors to your taste. I don't usually count that amount of almond milk but it does come up as 1 point.  You could also top with FF redi whip or Skinny Girl coffee foam!

Cannoli Stuffed French Toast WW Style

Here is my take on Cannoli Stuffed French
Toast inspired by Hungry Girl
3 eggs, 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp cinnamon.  Combine all those ingredients. ( you will have more then you need for one  serving) . 2 Slices of 647 bread. 1/2 tbsp light butter( 1 sp)  Place your 1/2 tbsp butter in your pan and let it get nice and bubbly. Dip your bread in your egg mixture and cook in your hot pan. In the meantime mix your filling.3 tbsp of FF ricotta cheese(1 sp) , 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 2 packets of Splenda, and a dash of cinnamon.  I measured out 13 lily chocolate chips. Assemble your plate, Place one of the french toast pieces and add 1/2 of you filling mixture and half your chips. Top with remaining french toast and filling and chips. I dusted with Swerve sugar-free powdered sugar( zero). I also added 2 of the Jones Chicken breakfast sausages (1 sp)
It was filling and so delicious!  5 Freestyle smart point for my whole plate!

Broffle It's a brownie It's a waffle... its both!

Here it is .... When the brownie became the broffle!
Makes 2 mini waffles
I use Pillsbury Sugar-Free Brownie Mix
Measure 29 grams of the mix on your food scale and place in a small mixing bowl. I added 1 medium egg and 1 TBSP of pure pumpkin and 1/2 tsp of baking powder. Mix and add 1/2 of the mixture to your dash waffle iron and cook until the doneness you like. Remove and use the rest of the batter. You should get 2 mini waffles.
You can top as you like. It makes 2 mini waffles at 3 sp for both or 1 sp for one. I topped mine with 1 serving of pb2 and the other with a tbsp of ice cream. I also topped with fat-free redi whip! Adjust your point when you add your topping of choice.

Low Point Homemade Ranch Dip/Dressing using homemade buttermilk













My low point homemade ranch dressing using homemade buttermilk.
First, you make the buttermilk
1 cup of 1% fat milk (4 smart points) add 1 tbsp of white distilled vinegar. Mix and let stand at room temp for 10 mins. After it will be a bit thick.
To make Dish with Dee's Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
1 cup of low-fat buttermilk of choice
1 cup of NF plain greek yogurt
2 Tbsp of low-fat mayo
1 packet of ranch dressing powder mix
1/4 tsp of xantham gum ( if you want a thicker dressing ) 

Mix all ingredients in a jar and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Points for this ... 1 tbsp is zero smart points 2-4 tbsp(1/4 cup) is 1
smart point. 5-8 tbsp is 3smart points.



Breakfast Oat flour 2 Ingredient Dough Pizza

The recipe below, just an overview do what you like and count your points.
Dish with Dee's Breakfast Pizza/Tostada
I use 1/4 of oat flour that I made myself by just grinding rolled oats in my magic bullet.
2 tbsp NF Greek Yogurt
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
dash of 21 seasoning salute
mix and form into dough and roll on parchment.
I par-bake the crust 375 in my convection oven for 4 mins or until edges start to brown then I added 2 scrambled eggs to pieces of Canadian bacon chopped , already sauteed mushrooms and so Cabbott 75% reduced-fat cheddar. Put back in oven for about 7 -8 mins. I removed from oven and topped with fresh tomato. fresh basil and a scant amount of avocado  I am counting this as 5 points as I did not use all the full points of my ingredients.

Sundried Tomato, Basil and Zucchini Quiche Cups or Mini Quiches

Recipe:
1 1/2 cups of shredded Zucchini
1/4 cup chopped onion
3 oz of Trader Joe's Light shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
8 large eggs
1/2 cup NF Greek Yogurt
2 tbsp chopped sundried tomato
combine all ingredients and place in regular muffin tins sprayed with Pam. Bale 350 degrees for 24 mins. Check with a toothpick for doneness. makes 12
2 mini quiches for 1 smart point on all plans

Mexican Dark Chocolate Banana Bread Mini Loaf

This is my version of @ pound dropper banana bread.
       Mexican Dark Chocolate Banana Bread
1 banana mashed
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup of quick oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
2 tsp Splenda
1/2 tsp baking powder
dash of salt
1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper( you can leave this out if you don't like spice)
mix everything in a bowl. Place in a mini loaf pan sprayed with nonstick spray.  I to[ mine with 13 of the lily sugar-free choc chips for zero, 1 tsp salted toasted pumpkin seeds and 1 tsp of hulled hemp hearts. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 25 mins and check for doneness, Enjoy the whole thing for 2 smart points or just half for 1. I keep mine in the refrigerator or freezer

Cream of Wheat Mini Loaf

Cream of Wheat Breakfast Mini Loaf 
1 banana mashed
1 egg beaten
4 tbsp of Cream of wheat  dry mix
1 tbsp surkin Gold brown sugar substitute
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash of salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp of sugar-free pancake syrup or 1 tsp of maple extract
13 lily chocolate chips
Mix everything well and place it in a mini loaf pan sprayed with Pam.
Sprinkle the lily chips on top. Bale @350 degrees for 30 mins.
For breakfast slice in half and toast and spray with I can't believe its not butter spray and add sugar-free Jelly if you like just adjust the points.
4 points for the whole loaf

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore Zero Points

3 Large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
4 small bell peppers chopped
1 medium onion diced
1 small container of sliced mushrooms or one can
4 cloves of garlic minced
1 tsp of dried basil
1 tsp of dried Italian seasonings
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp dried red pepper flakes
1 tsp olive oil
parm cheese to taste just check for points

Place crockpot on high and place your olive oil in and place your chicken along the bottom and top with your crushed tomatoes and your veggies and herbs and spices as well as the garlic Cook on high for 4 hours and then shred or cut up your chicken and serve over your pasta of choice or rice.

Makes 8 servings for  zero points you just need to count the pasta or rice
